Zig Zag Wall & Floors

Ryan didn't recover quite as fast as I thought he might from the flu bug, so we were very thankful when he woke up Monday morning feeling better.  (It's been a long 2 weeks folks!)  We were finally able to continue work on the baby room.  A lot has happened in the last few days & here are some pictures to prove it J

Monday night Ryan's dad came over to help finish the zig zag wall.

Even though he was feeling better, he was still a little wiped.

Peeling off the tape is definitely the best part J

She started off with a strong cleaner.

Then she mopped up our (& the previous families) dirt...gross!

It made the floors look pretty sad!

Then she started on the polyurethane coats.

This is after 1 of 3 coats of polyurethane.

We didn't get a final shot of the floors because Ryan left for work after one coat of polyurethane was applied.  After work we helped Travis and Jenna move & spent the night @ Ryan's parents house (our house had a slight odor from the cleaner & polyurethane).  Hopefully tonight we will get to check it out more thoroughly & I can post more pictures.  We were extremely pleased with Sherri's work though so if you ever need your floors re-finished give me a call & I can hook you up with her!
