I just want to throw out a big THANK YOU to Travis & Jenna for planning this weekend getaway to Gatlinburg. It was one of those trips that you look forward to for months, count down the days until you leave & when it's all over, it was just as great as you had anticipated! We will definitely be ready for round two in a couple years...or whenever it gets planned again J Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Girls Group Photo
There was some intense hiking, rock-hopping & walking up steep hills on Saturday; a great group devotion on Sunday; Ripley's Aquarium visit on Monday; bruises from uncomfortable bed springs on Tuesday; and cold water & ice showers in the hot tub Saturday through Monday, none of which have pictures to prove it happened so you will just have to take my word for it. We came away refreshed & so thankful that we have an amazing church family that makes these friendships possible.
jamy--the catch is you need to tell him BEFORE you go. :) i don't know if you does reimbursement!

ReplyDeleteThe trip was a lot of fun, junk food in abundance, that we bought way too much of so it was even more of a necessity, to eat and eat and eat... and many games of Rook my new favorite game. Next time we'll have to hit up bark b4 we go. We'll just have to check to see if there are any rule changes to the deal b4 we go! I would recommend the sweet potato pancakes to anyone who goes, they taste kinda like pumpkin and were really good :>
